The factory roof rack that comes on the Xterra works good. However the ends of the cross bars are made of plastic which will break if you put too much weight up there and hit a rough road.
These heavy duty cross bars replace your factory cross bars and have no plastic parts to break.
They are made from 1″ x 3″ rectangular steel tubing which is much stronger than the stock oval tube and gives you a flat surface to mount your accessories on.
They can be mounted in the high position so larger accessories can clear the factory rails.
Or flip them over to the low position to keep smaller accessories hidden between the factory rails.
Black powder coat finish.
