63″ Chevy leaf springs are a popular economical swap for many offroad vehicles.
They are 11″ longer and 1/2″ wider than stock Scout II rear leaf springs.
They increase durability, provide increased suspension travel, and still have a comfortable ride on the trail as well as the road.
These leaf springs were used on the rear of Chevy/GMC 2wd & 4wd, 1/2 & 3/4 ton trucks from ’88 to ’14.
They come in 4 leaf packs (3 leaves + 1 overload leaf), 5 leaf packs (4 leaves + 1 overload leaf), and 6 leaf packs (5 leaves + 1 overload leaf).
They can be easily found for about $50 to $100 a pair at most wrecking yards or pick-n-pulls. Or you can buy new lifted ones if you want more height.
These mounts can also be used to swap 63″ Chevy springs onto other vehicles where you want the springs mounted outside the frame.
Add a set of pinch plates to spring over your axle and eliminate the U-bolts.
Included in this kit:
- Front spring hanger
- Rear shackle hanger
- 6.5″ Shackles
- New grade 8 hardware needed for spring and shackle installation
